About Hub City Property Management
Hub City Property Management was founded out of frustration with existing property management services in Moncton. With 40+ doors of our own, we built our entire business model based on what real estate investors actually want and prioritize transparency in pricing.
Additionally, we prioritize tenant satisfaction by fostering positive relationships, aiming to build loyalty and trust. Happy tenants are more likely to renew leases, reducing turnover costs and ensuring a stable, profitable investment for property owners.
Our mission is simple: to bridge the gap by offering transparent pricing, leveraging our own investment experience, and prioritizing tenant satisfaction.
Meet the Team
Martin Mei Roderick Moy
Martin is a seasoned real estate investor based in Moncton. With over 80 successful property transactions under his belt, including off-market deal sourcing, flipping, and BRRRR’s, Martin and his team boast a robust rental portfolio of 38 units.
Having experienced firsthand the challenges of finding investor-friendly property management services in Moncton, Martin is committed to providing transparency and prioritizing tenant retention over maximizing profits. He understands the costliness of turnovers and values long-term tenant satisfaction.
As an immigrant to Canada, Martin empathizes with the struggles newcomers face in securing safe and affordable housing. Recognizing challenges such as lack of credit history, employment history, and language barriers, Martin works diligently to bridge the gap, ensuring working-class Canadians and new immigrants gain access to housing at reasonable rates.
Martin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from McGill University and has pursued continuing education at esteemed institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Institute of Canada.
Roderick brings to HCPM a wealth of managerial and operational strength important to property management and real estate, lending from his past 4+ years in corporate strategy and analytics.
Prior to forming HCPM, Roderick worked at the Hudson's Bay Company, a premier Canadian retailer, in strategy and business development and in analytics and franchising at Restaurant Brands International. At HBC and RBI, Roderick was responsible for streamlining and right sizing operations, budgeting, and performance management for nationally recognized brands such as Tim Hortons, The Bay and Zellers.
Roderick holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from McGill University, majoring in Finance and Strategy with a minor in Business Analytics. He also holds the CSC credential from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Outside of the workplace, Roderick is an avid sportsman. He was a former national level varsity athlete in high school and university, competing in both swimming and rowing on the provincial and national championship stages.
